It is very dangerous to blog about other people. You may cause a total Harriet the Spy moment where others find out that you view them as a horrible no good person.
In which he tells his loyal readers about our date
In which I do not call him back
In which I am written off as a dating possibility
In which I FINALLY call back and hang out with him until 2AM
In which he recaps
In which I am a horrible, no good monster who eats boys' hearts

Wow. That's a helluva thing. Sort of a dark mirror for me, too. Who needs self-confidence when you can have insecurity, guilt, shame, and anger, eh?

but it's always a good thing to "vent" such feelings rather than keeping them all bottled up, eh?
Yes, and no. It's one thing to do a brain dump on a best friend or two, and quite another to vent such feelings at volume or in a public forum.
The feelings which accompany such low periods in self-esteem are as real as any emotions, but we take a risk in sharing them.
The cynicism (not to say misogyny) which such feelings can incite, as well as the bitterness with which it is commonly expressed, remain in the minds of one's audience long after the feelings themselves are gone.

it's an unlisted jounral... therefore the only people who have access to it are my "friends"... and well... now readers of this blog.
